Welcome to the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas! My name is Teagan Varrati, and I am so excited to be serving as Chapter President for the 2023 year.

Thinking back to recruitment in Fall of 2019, I remember how much I loved Alpha Delta Pi immediately. From the moment I walked into ADPis recruitment room I felt so empowered, comfortable, and motivated. The women in this chapter were women I aspired to be more like. Running home to ADPi was the best choice I have ever made and my love and admiration for Alpha Delta Pi only grows every day.

A couple weeks after joining this chapter my boyfriend's sister, Brooke Zorne passed away unexpectedly. She was one of my greatest friends and was a sister to me also. She helped me so much while going through recruitment. Her sorority really helped her blossom as a person, and she wanted me to experience the same. This loss was indescribable. I was at one of the lowest points in my life. My whole chapter wrote me notes and brought me a gift to cheer me up. My sisters showed me love in a time when I felt so low. I remember reading the notes and thinking about how I was right where I needed to be. After such a huge loss in my life, I decided to dedicate my time in this chapter to making it even more beautiful and really focusing on making amazing connections with all my sisters. This chapter has taught me so many things that make me the woman I am today. I am proud to be an ADPi because these women make me feel strong, loved, important and confident. I have met some of my best friends in this chapter. My sisters have had my back through hard times of losing loved ones and shown me that true sisters always show up for each other. I am so beyond lucky to be an ADPi. Because of this chapter I know I will succeed in everything I do in the future. I will have lifelong friends that I can always count on. I have become a more confident and stronger version of myself.

 

I love this chapter so much and from the bottom of my heart I am so thankful for every single sister I have. I am so honored to represent the women of Epsilon Rho.
